The son has been unwell since yesterday with fever and diarrhoea. Good thing the fever was mild but the diarrhoea was pretty bad, with him waking me up at 3 am aksing to “go”. However I did discover an easy way to feed him the meds — a medicine laced jam sandwich! Pictured below, the green tablet is Lomotil and the crushed medicine Paracetamol. Should have thought of this a long time ago 
he must be REALLY unwell not to notice the extra chunky pieces in the sandwich!! hope he gets well soon!
My Mum used to try things like that on me to get me to take medication! Glad it’s working better for you than it did for her lol

Thanks for the concern, he is better today. Funnily enough he does not mind sour/bitter stuff but balks at things that are too sweet. Hence he will take sour oranges/grapefruits (which he likes) but makes a face when given cough mixture!
