gadgets

What is the advantage of having a husband who is a gadget freak?
1. You get nice new gadgets without even asking for them
2. You get an upgrade whenever hubby gets an upgrade ;)

Yes, I finally got used to my iPod touch and passed over my still functioning Tungsten T5 to my niece. And when hubby upgraded to the Palm Pre recently, I took over the Palm Centro. Just as well as the Treo 680 was giving me problems with frequent audio loss – needing the poke and blow maneuver into the audio jack! Funnily enough I rarely use my iPod touch to listen to music. Instead I use it mainly for reading ebooks, playing Scrabble and Bejewelled and checking mail and Facebook ;)

What’s the advantage of having a husband who is still using the first generation handphone – just good to receive calls, make calls and with 5 smses, the memory is full?

You got to buy these gadgets yourself, and with him saying – wait, there shall newer and better and more powerful handphones or computers, laptops or cameras coming out. Don’t buy yet.

    Envy you..

The consolation is I don’t get the “passing-on” used gadgets. He..he..

  2. hahah I can understand that. I use my ipod touch to surf the net when I’m out shopping. Only use it to listen to music in the car…with it linked to the stereo with one of those wire gadget thingy. It has a background hissing sound occasionally. Annoying.

Background hissing sound? I presume that’s with the car stereo. If so it’s probably due to some interference with the particular FM channel you are using.

  4. I think its the inteference. It’s mighty hard to find a channel which is free of radio stations. as I drive around…the channel changes..and from lovely violin music …I get some mandarin pop songs streaming thru. YUCKS
