Dranony: The HLB test is the same as the LBA scam.

Different name, same bullshit. Note that if you follow the link that you gave, you arrive at a webpage that has the tag "bradford". Also, if you search "HLB test" on google, you get this link:

h**p://www.shvoong.com/medicine-and-health/1877582-hlb-blood-test/

As mentioned many times on this blog and also in the TheStar, Robert W. Bradford (the inventor of the live blood analysis scam microscope) is not a real doctor and is currently being charged for fraud in the US in relation to his LBA scam microscope. There was a death involved in his case, related to his associate giving false treatment to patients. See:
h**p://www.usdoj.gov/usao/ks/press/Dec2008/Dec05a.html

Furthermore, take note of what the Director-General of Malaysia's Ministry of Health said about doctors carrying out the LBA scam:

On whether an LBA test can be considered valid when a medical doctor performs it, Dr Ismail said: “There is no scientific basis for the technique and hence even if it is carried out by a medical doctor it is still not valid. No doctor should carry out such a test.”

No evidence to back LBA’s effectiveness, says Health D-G:
h**p://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/10/6/nation/4850643&sec=nation

As Palmdoc points out, anyone carrying out live blood analysis is a fraud and charlatan, regardless of what medical qualifications they hold.

FYI the relevant authorities and affected companies said that they are investigating this blog posting and will take serious action against the LBA cheaters.

Well, I hope Malaysian govt does something. People first, performance now, right? If someone dies due to this scam, Najib would get really pissed so its in the best interest of the relevant authorities to do something while they can. Can MMA, MMC and MoH start a joint awareness campaign of some sort to kill this LBA scam once and for all?

Another con man to watch out for carrying out this live blood analysis scam is a "Dr" xxx. See: h**p:**www.regenesis.com.my/html/staff.htm

Look at where he studied LBA. Remember that Robert Bradford is not a real doctor and was indicted in the US last year on fraud charges, this was also mentioned in TheStar article that reported the LBA scam. The Robert Bradford Institute has not been active for years.

How come these kinds of blatant medical quacks like "Dr" xxx are not being apprehended by the authorities? He is running a scam and nobody is doing anything. The relevant authorities MUST make themselves accountable for protecting the public from these kinds of medical scams.

You know, we understand, everyone is trying to fill their rice bowl and feed their families. But cheating people is not the way to make a living, especially when it involves people's health. Most of these LBA quacks are lying and scaring innocent and trusting Malaysians into believing that they are sick in some way, when they are actually healthy. See: http://seniorsaloud.blogspot.com/2009/10/live-blood-analysis-scam.html

This is just plain wrong and disgusting, because the charlatans like "Dr" xxx are preying on senior citizens and those with real illnesses to make a fast buck!!

My real concern is that a year from now, people will forget TheStar report on the LBA scam and con men like "Dr" xxx will start their LBA scams again, or find a "replacement" scam to continue cheating people.

Unfortunately the MOH probably is powerless to do anything as the Medical Act may not apply to those non doctor. The so called supplement may not require MOH approval for sale in the first place. At the end of the day, this is a con job and I am not sure whose territory is this? Maybe is within the jurisdiction of Ministry of trade?

Despite the warnings from TheStar, Malaysian Medical Association and Ministry of Health, looks like the con artists involved in the LBA scam are still intent on carrying out their fraudulent schemes. See:

www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/10/15/focus/4904385&sec=focus

For the record, this "Dr" Stallion Chan who wrote the letter is not a real doctor and has no real medical qualifications. In the article below, this charlatan is promoting things like pseudoscientific cures for cancer, so beware:

www.free2consult.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28&Itemid=2

I hope that Ministy of health will clamp down hard on charlatans like this guy. There has to be some kind of enforcement to check the real qualifications of all these medical quacks.

A nurse friend of mine told me the pictures in this blog show the LBA scam being carried out:
http://jassy-min.blogspot.com/2007/05/thursday-friday.html

How come our Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives And Consumerism never catch these guys? They are cheating people plain and simple. What if someone dies from the false diagnosis and fake treatments?

More articles on the LBA scam:

Bleeding scam: LBA is 'junk science':

Also, when I search online I find many Malaysian "health clinics" offering LBA, like the following:
