We feature the Top Malaysian Doctor Blogs
posted in - General, - Palmdoc |Seems like a trend these days, to highlight popular Malaysian blogs. So we thought we’d highlight the medical ones! To be scientific, here’s how we came out with the lists:
Aim:
To determine the popularity of blogs written by Malaysian Doctors
Methodology:
We used all the Malaysian Doctor Blogs (excluding medicine.com.my) that we know of, blogrolled here in the Malaysian Medical Resources. For the ranking data, we used the handy popularity checker Popuri.us. If the blog’s page rank is the result of the base URI’s pagerank (eg medicine.com.my/mydobbs has the same pagerank as medicine.com.my), then the rank is discarded.
We decided to list according to either Google Page Rank or Technorati Rank. For either list, if there is a tie in ranking, then the second ranking decides the order in the list. We did not include Alexa ranking since much of it seems to derive from stats of IE users who have installed the Alexa Toolbar.
A short explanation for those unfamiliar with the ranking systems: For Google Pagerank, the higher the number the higher the rank (ranges from 0-10). As for Technorati, the smaller the number, the higher the rank.

Generally, blog regularly and focus on your readership.
2) Links. You need them. If you are a doctor blogger and not listed in the MMR’s blogroll, do tell us and we’d be happy to blogroll you. You can also Blog right here in the MMR! You are most welcome to highlight and link back to your own blog. Offer open only to Malaysian doctors and regular MMR bloggers get a free @medicine.com.my email account. To blog in the MMR, just register in the MMR, and then let me know you wish to be an MMR blogger.

ermmm , i have to work harder to improve my rank. palmdoc, did u remove “Nofollow” tag from MMR. why don’t u reward some of regular commentator here. hehehe read here
