Fraud alert: Color Vibration Therapy
posted in - Fraud watch, - Palmdoc |There doesn’t seem to be any shortage of health scams in this country. Recently a colleague of mine related this incident to me. A couple whose child has Thalassemia major decided to forgo conventional treatment allegedly for “Color Vibration Therapy” instead. Sadly the child deteriorated and was admitted to ICU with a Hb of about 1 g/dl !!
A Google search shows that this quackery is available in Malaysia and in Malaysia Boleh style, there are claims this is developed right here in Malaysia. The information about the background and concept of this sort of “therapy” is so full of mumbo-jumbo it is quite ridiculous. This is a sample of the mumbo-jumbo from one of the local web sites:
CVT believe that the disease is a form of energy. The law of energy states that the energy can neither be created nor be destroyed; it can only be transformed from one form to another repeatedly. CVT treats not only a physical disease, but also a spiritual disease such as a black magic and wedges/ poisons. When the body felt into disease, it meant that the energy of the body is unbalance.
Thus, it is a task of the practitioners to rebalance the energy in the patient’s body to recover into a good health. CVT believe that the best antidote in the natural antidote produce in the body. Only the human body can produce the right antidote within the right amount, the right place and the right time. CVT natural wave formula (NW) merely promotes the body to do it’s own task. By this way, our body will get cure naturally without any side effects.
Therefore, the illness energy of human body can be transformed (cured) into health energy. CVT decline the concept of surgery in the treatment. No matter how worse the condition of the organs, they can still be treated and cure back to its normal condition depending on how to maximize the usage of CVT formulation.
The law of conservation of mass and energy states that every type of energy is also a form of mass. Therefore the energy is also an atom itself. In treating the disease, CVT is actually applying the same energy to the disease. For instance, if there is a cancer in the liver, thus the colour frequency of the liver is yellow. When the same energy or atoms combine together, it will neutralize each other; hence it restore to health.
This is not complementary medicine, this is quack medicine. If it leads to patients defaulting proper treatment and endangering their lives (their web page even implies that CVT can be applied in cancer treatment) , I think the MOH should investigate. Why? MOH has opened Pandora’s box so I think it’s MOH’s dire responsibility to reign in the rogues.

The guy claims CVT can CURE and aid the treatment from EBOLA to malaria to typhoid to dengue to tetanus and even HIV!!
Can we infect him with say HIV or malaria and see how his miracle CURE works?
Got plenty of HIV and malaria chaps around to “donate” some blood…
