How CSL could have got away with it

Lingam:
“It looks like me, sounds like me.”
“But I will not say 100% that it’s me.”
CSL could have said:
“It looks like me, sounds like me, f***s like me.”
“But I will not say 100% that it’s me.”
However I think CSL’s medical training kicked in. He was straightforward, truthful and did not hide the facts. He did not even use the “I was drunk” excuse.
In Malaysian politics, that’s suicide.
The current RCI into the Lingam video scandal is becoming quite a political circus. All sorts of denials are now occurring amidst selective memory lapses.
Functional amnesia. Now that’s a new one.

I am following the current Lingam case with great interest, mainly because it has degenerated into a farcical and almost comical fiasco. Imagine, one guy said he met the other, the other said “no”, they have never met! Both are lawyers and giving their statements in a court of law (their very place of practice!). So, we the common people can conclude that at least ONE of them is LYING! This is our judiciary. We have no more hope.
