Relief for cell-phone users
posted in - Dobbs, - General |For mobile phone users everywhere who may have been worried about the risk of brain cancer from cell phone use, a recent study has found no link between long-term cell-phone use and the risk of brain cancer. British researchers determined no association between the risk of glioma and time since first cell-phone use, lifetime years of use, and cumulative number of calls and hours of use. The study is in accord with most studies that have examined the highly publicized notion that radio frequencies emitted by cell phones can cause cancer. Last year, case-control studies in Sweden and Denmark led to similar conclusions, although neither study was as large as the investigation conducted by Dr. Hepworth and colleagues.

My opinion is that don’t throw in 100% trust on these reports. Not suggesting they’re inaccurate but there have been a lot of positive and negative reports; where one came out with a positive report, another may come out differently. It depends on the focus of the study – to prove if there is or if there is not.
Mobile phone, tobacco… same approach.
If you feel slight dizziness or tiredness after long talk on one ear, there IS something, whether it will cause this or that is a different issue.
